Ms. Lee is the administrative & program coordinator as well as English circle time teacher. She has worked in education for over 20 years, spanning multiple grade levels, subjects, and roles. However, it was her time teaching in Taiwan that solidified her interest in child development and second language acquisition. Ms. Lee holds a Master of Education, a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Program Director Permit. Ms. Lee strongly believes in the importance of active, open-ended, and creative play in the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children.
Ms. Lo is in charge of handling the Center’s finances and bookkeeping. Prior to joining LACS Children’s Center, Ms. Lo taught art to K-2nd grade students at an afterschool program for three years. It was from her experience there that she became interested in working with children. Ms. Lo is also qualified to work with the children in the classrooms as a teacher's assistant. You will often see her helping to supervise the children in the playground or encouraging children during Jump Bunch.
Ms.Tan was born and raised in Malaysia. Ms. Tan is the site supervisor and also in charge of admissions. She received a B.S in Human Sciences and Family Sciences from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and holds a Site Supervisor Permit. She has been working in early childhood education for fourteen years in various roles including: teacher assistant, lead teacher, mentor, and as an instructional coach. Ms. Tan comes from a multicultural background which helps her to see and appreciate others, as well as honor the differences we all have. While she loves working with children, she also enjoys connecting and partnering with families to promote positive experiences at school.
Ms. Lung is an early childhood educator with over two decades of experience. She is a licensed childcare provider and loves being the lead teacher in our 4's class. Before joining Los Altos Chinese school, she was the co-founder and director of Sunny Garden Daycare in the south bay area, where she managed both its program and operation of 14 children. She specializes in immersive Mandarin program through fun arts & crafts, stories, songs, and hands-on activities. Outside of work, Ms. Lung is a passionate cook and baker. Fun fact: she has a certificate in baking & pastry from Taiwan.
Ms. Xiao Yu has ten years of experience working at a Chinese school before joining LACS Children’s Center in 2018. She is currently the teacher's assistant in the 4's class. Her love for working with young children inspired her to start taking early childhood development courses in order to strengthen her knowledge and skills in the field. She is passionate about preparing children for life after LACS Children’s Center, and really enjoys working in the preschool.
Ms. Luo has over a decade of experience in early childhood education and holds a Certificate of Achievement in Child Development. As the lead teacher of the 3's class, she enjoys incorporating art, music and movement into her lessons. She always makes the lessons engaging and fun and finds ways to increase their curiosity. Ms. Luo tries to give every student the attention they need and loves to see them succeed under her guidance.
